The Kristi Dining Table

The Kristi is the sort of custom dining table table that doesn’t demand attention, it simply gets it.  Almost impossible to miss, the 1"-square tube base pinches in at the waste to give this dining table a modernist, geometric feel.  Paired with a natural wood top, it's the ideal blend of comfort and style.

The hourglass figure of this powder coated iron frame serves to supply ample knee-space to all guests, regardless of placement around the tabletop.  Add to this to the fact that the bottom and top of the base sit at least 8" from the long sides and 12" from the ends, this design often serves well as a pedestal table for banquettes and booths.

And unlike many of Parkman's tables, the 1.5"-thick urban or reclaimed wood surface isn't necessarily the star of this show, but its certainly worthy companion.  Urban lumber tops, such as the naturally fallen elm shown in the primary photo, are finished with a durable hard-wax oil.  Reclaimed wood tabletops, such as the preserved texture example in photo 3, are finished with a water-based varnish.  Regardless of the finish used, you and your guests will never need to use coasters, or worry about liquid marks in general.
