This modern conference table replaces traditional legs with a sculptural pedestal that looks like someone folded a sheet of solid lumber and balanced a ten foot slab on top. The timber is from trees that fell naturally around Los Angeles. We milled the lumber in our workshop and selected boards for continuous grain that flows across the top and down through the faceted base. The finish is hard-wax oil that protects against coffee rings and elbows while letting the wood breathe and age gracefully over years of quarterly reviews and client pitches.
